Snow idea ?

right just sussed it ... stick four space saver wheels on for the snow .
reason being ... whilst stuck on a hill today (along with lotsa cars) the little cars with skinny tyres were all going past with ease

Already though of that as I have two in the garage. Trouble is there is very little tread on a space saver wheel so it would fill with snow very quickly!!!

Spent 5hrs on the M8 today. Then trying to pull away - was getting annoying with the tyres just giving up the ghost gripwise.

Might also be that those little cars and skinny tyres weigh a lot less therefore not so much mass to drag through the snow

Winter tyres on the smallest size you can get away with.

Definately the way to go. I saw a Jaguar yesterday both fronts were space savers, he just ploughed straight on through.
