removing orange from rear pre-facelift rear lights CAN IT BE DONE?

before i go any further in ym search for a good priced set of rear sri lights i was wondering can the orange upper indicator be removed

is the orange in the actual plastic or is it like older corsa's etc and have a ornage layer behing the clear plastic?

You'll have to change to the Sri/Gsi lights only way to get rid,hth..........

yea but ive seen it done and feel you can still see the ornage and it looks like a dark orange lol

im going to tint them and see anyway until i find a well priced set of sri's

Elite ones like mine are clear and should be cheaper than SRi ones.

Elite ones like mine are clear and should be cheaper than SRi ones.

Check first to be sure before buying though. Not all Elites had clear lights - early ones like mine had orange indicator lenses - and a red centre brake rear light lens as well.
