Do the chippys down south sell chicken pies??

I've just realised that none of the ones i've been to in Scotland sell chicken pies!!!!

You can get mince and steak though......

I think our local chip shop sells a Chicken and Mushroom pie but i may be wrong a deffo a steak and kidney and a minced beef steak and onion. Will go and have a look Monday lunchtime

We used to live in Luton and i'm sure they did them there. Been living in Scotland for 8 years and not one chippy sells chicken and mushroom pies!!

Will need to hunt for a place that sells them when i go down lol

There's a reason that there are no chicken pies in Scotland, same reason as why there's no Lamb pies in Wales

I used to live in Lanark (not far from you)

If you are ever over there is 2 chippys in the town - both used to get awards for "best chippy" etc and they both used to sell chicken pies.

I will be up visiting in a few weeks and cant wait to get some decent chips!!

yep puke a pies in yorkshire

last time i went to a chippy darn sarth i asked for cod chips and peas i got a scabby pice of fish frozen chips and prossesed marrowfat peas no chippy i went to did mushy peas.

My chippy does mushy peas.....and a nice Chicken pie...and a cracking sideline in chinese food..

no chicken in lanark just us hillbillies
