    I have a vectra 53 plate 2.0L turbo special edition, the steering goes heavy and then light and it does this all the time, sometimes the steering is so heavy i cannot turn it, but it i turn the steering wheel slowly it seams to be better just abit juddery. anyone got any ideas?

    I think it is electric as i cannot see a bottle for the fluid to go.
    plus someone else told me it was electric as well

    Wierdly enough this was happening exactly as described to my wifes old 307 - checked for a reservoir, couldn't find one - they'd hid it under all sorts of pipes/plastic etc.... that was the cause for the problem.

    the bottle is right underneath the drivers side wheel arch .....

    just about visible under the airbox

    easyest way if u remove the airbox or the headlight

    Do i have to take the wheel arch out or something, i really could not see anything.
