The code is P0340 camshaft position sensor 'A' circuit or single sensor. Did a lot of googling and found that it was advisable to change the crankshaft sensor as well so did both of them, cleared the codes, but the eml light came straight back on and the hesitation was still there

Tech2 would give you a more in depth read out over generic readers
guy at work had a miss fire and used a cheapo reader he changed plugs. Coil pack vvt cogs etc
still light came on he then asked me said the same he replied changed it
when he told me using a £20 Argos code reader I told him to when your in next I'll bring mine in
2 days later plugged tech 2 in. Told him injector was bad earth number 3
new plug on it next day and cured it

That's great Simon, thank you so much for the information. Would be brilliant if you could plug it in for me, whereabouts in Leicester are you?

Hiya mate, you doing ok? It sure was, doesn't mean its not faulty though I guess. After googling it and looking at other forums there seems to be so many things that it could possibly be, but I've got to get a definite answer a.s.a.p. as my MOT is due in two weeks
