    Default HID kit fitted

Fitted kit http://www.hids4u.co.uk/h7-35w-ultim...rsion-kit.html today and all went well.. No flickering or errors, just a nice clear light.
Chose 6000k, one ballast in battery tray, the other velco'd to gap between airbox and wing. No need to remove bumper/headlights or airbox, bulbs push into original holder without any modification.
I should have done this a long time ago, rather than continue ******ing around with numerous types of halogen bulb.
This kit appears too work without any probs on my full canbus 2008 cdti sri..

You paid £145 for a HID kit !!!!

You can get kits for less than half that price that do the same job.

Paid £115 inc delivery. Not as cheap as chips, but as car is my taxi and used on permanent night shifts, I didnt want any issues with flickering etc, just plug and play..
Have read many of the posts RE; HID and problems associated with some kits, that work fine on some cars but not on others. I agree these may not be the cheapest, was just pointing out that they worked as advertised and were a doddle to fit.

Will take some pics on Sunday..

Did search a while, but also noted some negative comments RE; hids-direct, hence making the choice I did. The negative comments may have been directed toward earlier or other kits too the one you suggest, but am only able to comment on what worked for me.. (at a price LOL)..
