    Default twin exhaust

    just looking for some advice. just wanted to know what parts i needed to convert my cdti from a single back box to double back box. can all the parts be taken from the 2.2 direct. help would be much appreciated thanx.

    hi m8
    you will need the Y and the back boxes and the rear bumper insert.
    and the rubber hangers.
    it should fit yours if the exhaust bore on the twin are the same or larger.
    what engine do you have m8

    got the 150 bhp cdti, should only need the the right rear box not both

    that will depend on the bore of the exhaust m8
    where if you get both with the Y it will fit even with a reducer/sleeve

    And i have a question too!
    I have 2002 gts with 2.2 dti engine. Will the exhaust system from 3.0 diesel fit??

    Get the Irmscher 'Y' piece for the exhaust. It has instructions with it for cutting your existing pipe. It's about £130

    getting new back boxes for £51 a box and the y piece for £38. not priced the trim piece yet will do that tommorow

    Don't forget to check above where the right hand exhaust will be for a heat shield if you don't have you should get one from the stealers it just sticks to the bodywork.
