alarm begining to get the better of me

hi all

alarm is doing my head in ive replaced power sounder, all the rear fuses that relate to the alarm the rear screen works fine and have also replaced the bonnet switch, im now struggling for ideas as it is still showing safeguard and "b2955-6 antitheft warning system sensor datalink circuit low voltage or circuit open " any other possibilities ?

When you say you changed the power sounder - did you replace the back-up battery too?

Normally - faults found on the anti-theft system can be -

1) Defunkt Sounder back-up battery
2) Ultra-sonic sensor faulty
3) Glass break detection wire on estates

failing that I assume all connectors to the components are clean, dry and securely fastened.

ok i thought the battery was internal to the powersounder ? if it isnt where do i find that battery?? also might give the ultrasonics a go if battery is internal
