Default To facelift or not to facelift

    That is the question lol.

I'm going to be taking my first step on the property ladder very soon. This of course means no VXR for just now

So I have decided instead to re-spray the vec next summer (done alot of painting and quite good at it now) as there alot of marks here and there and I am really picky.

So obviously while the spray gun is out I am in two minds if I should facelift it (loosing the irmy grill and front splitter) or leave as is and do a few subtle mods (maybe even a lexmaul bumper).

I know next summer is a looooooong way away but if I am going to f/l I want to start collecting all of the parts

Here is a pic of it as it stands just now and i'm sure you can all imagine what it would look like facelifted

No, no, no from me. I know I'm biased as I've got a pre facelift but I think the pre's look more agressive. Although actualy, yeah go for it, first dibs on your grill!

Your motor is my inspiration Glynn, being as its a facelift DTi (which of course they never made)

How much can the parts be bought for if you wait? Kinda thinking that alot of the parts I have just now will get me 50% of the cash for a facelift making it pretty reasonable cost wise.

I'd obviously want an SRi bumper (thats a must) but as for headlights etc i'd be happy to buy a set of chrome or angel eye ones to keep the cost down

Lol, a for sale thread will be listed IF I do the facelift, but remember we're talking about 7-8 months away.

By the way guys I only voted for DO IT! so that I don't have to click on view poll results all of the time, i'm not biased in any way and really don't know what to do

I have no bits bought buddy (don't know what to do yet), the bits I would be selling would be all of the bits on the car just now, Irmy grill, splitter, the sri bumper thought i'd maybe get 200-250 for all of the front end bits
