    Default brakes

    afternoon folks,just a quick question.where would be the best place to get front and back brakes for a brake upgrade,ma rear brakes are grindin like mad and instead of changin the pads and possibly the discs,a dont see the point in puttin a standard set on,so anye help would be great thanks.size of brakes am lookin for are the 314mm

    But they have been out of stock @ LMF for quite a while now. I keep checking every week to see if they have any in stock.

    brakes4u.co.uk is a good site for discs and pads, and i got my 314 from a stealer, and u get money back for old calipers,

    Don't always believe what LMF say on their web site.

    I was up the creek a few months ago with shagged calipers and, even though LMF were out of stock, I phoned Steve at LMF and £320 later (inc P&P) and within 48 hours, a new 314mm kit arrived on my doorstep. Steve did say that some of the bits that make up the kit (wasn't specific) were getting hard to find and that he may have to put the price up in the future.

    Well worth a call to discuss your predicament.

    from dealers, but i got mine from an independant vauxhall garage, but i think was nearly 60 pound for the old pair back

    sounds pretty good,when you say indapendant garage,you mean one other than the likes of arnold clarke,peter vardy or curtis.

    the one i used is called vauxcare in lincoln, all the mechanics have left masterfit and gone there, the have all the stuff like tec2 ect, just cheeper
