iirc Vauxhall dont recommend (along with many other manufacturers) the use of Bio Diesel in their engines ...

only modern ones with the correct mapping and injectors are advised to run it

0-Large smile ......every time it's driven

Don't put Bio Deisel in your CDTI, it may ruin it. Bio diesel can actually eat fuel seals and to my knowledge doesn't provide the best of lubrication for the pump and injectors.

Bio-Diesel will indeed eat fuel seals around the pump and lines, but only in a high concentration. Most places use a percentage of Bio-diesel in their regular diesel (around 7% iirc) but Gazza is correct, it is not great at lubricating fuel lines and pumps. It also settles in your tank too.

Looking at these posts I guess 100% biodiesel ain't good then as I did use it for about a month before n had a little blue smoke when I floored it n smelt like a chippy. Other than that all seemed ok
