I haven't mate, but I know the actual wiper stalks can be faulty, as can the motors. Are your wipers returning to the bottom of the windscreen properly as they should?

Check your fuses, there are 2 fuses for the wipers. 1 for intermittent and fast and one for normal speed iirc. In my quest for front fogs I swapped to a facelift front fuse box and didn't realise the fuses were different positions, the wipers didn't work on intermittent until the fuse was in the correct position.

    Found this helpful thread http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...t=90026&page=4

Removed wipers and scuttle lid. The connecting plug was covered in dirt and moisture was inside the plug.

Sussed out how to get to the wiper motor if I need to remove it in the future thanks to the above thread.

    Cheers

ive just fixed mine, same symtoms as yours, water can get in the motor and cause it to fail, there is a bodge it on here somewhere but i just got a second hand motor/linkage off a scrappie for £25 and now works a treat.

OR.....your wipers are in service mode.

Mine works after the engine has been running for 10 min, pointing towards the motor I think.

25 quid good price! wonder what the main stealer would have charged for that.
