cim fault

hi does any one have any idear if the cim can be reprogramed on my vectra c 52 reg 2.2 sri petrol.

i bought a second hand unit with same part numbers off identicle car can i program this unit to my vec.

my faults are i loose the dials and all electrics in the car and head light come on and batt light and abs light and car runs in limp home mode.

any advice............. checked abd plug well all plugs , been on tech2 fault with cim .

Think they can but the new one would have to of been tech2'd from donor car then tech2'd to yours then every thing coded back

can the new one be pluged in my car then reset the plug mine back in and take data off it ,the programed to new one , thanks for your reply

if i can not fit a second had cim is it possible to have my cim reprogramed.

yours has the same faults as mine did.
i had to buy a new cim late last year.
no faults now and fully working.
i would buy a new one m8 just for the piece off mind

hi thanks for the advice m8 been quoted £280 plus vat for cim and £80 plus vat to fit it, what you pay mate , just never know if im been robbed, thanks

that a good price m8
i had to pay £320 for my cim
but i was lucky as plasma(dean) tech2'd mine in.

it was wierd when it was all fixed as i was always waiting the fault to come back.

did you get the fault with the engine running in limp home,
here is all my faults
:engine in limp home ,only 22 mpg
clocks turn off when driving and batt plus abs come on for about a minute then all go off, head light turn on all rest after restarting engine.
computer radio windows intermit wipers only work fast indicators all stop working

yep had all that m8
but my limp mode didn't do it all the time only about every 5th fault.
