    Default 2.2 DTi with more power

    hi to all
    i have sri 2.2 dti and not sure if there is a way to make it go faster
    so far....
    new oil + filter
    Pipercross panel air filter
    air box with extra few halls
    de-cat with free flow system

    i have been told that chip is a bad idea for 2.2dti
    ...
    so wat else do i have to de-restrict to get a bit more out
    i'm looking for from standard 120hp to about 150hp

    125bhp as standard. They often have a bit more than that standard when they leave the factory.
    The steinbauer tuning box is for the DTI.

    standard clutches tend to slip with more power.

    Someone did say they cleaned out their fuel filter housing when changing it, that improved the running although theirs was pretty gunked up. Can't hurt to clean it for the sake of it.

    sorry for such Q. but where is the fuel filter on them ????

    On the bulkhead on the passenger side. From what I've read be warned that when you put the new filter in you need to fill the housing up with diesel and even then because it lets air into the system so it may take a while to start after. Because of this I've never actually changed mine as too worried about it not starting afterwards! Think though when you've done it once it's probably not that bad and I should just man up lol.

    replace the filter and put injector cleaner in with it and top up with diesel

    al.
