throttle position sensor

Hi,
has anyone or know how to replace a throttle position sensor on a 2003 signum dti got fault code read out by dealer but it is so intermittant.

its on the intake housing under the small black cover .........

Did changing the throttle position sensor fix the fault. I too have the same loss of power, leave it and its fine on a very intermitant basis. The mechanic wants to change the sensor but can only buy it as part of the manifold £150 + vat, did you manage to get the sensor on its own?

Any help much appreciated.

Unfortunatly the sensor only comes with that part of the manifold. Vx dont sell it on its own!! (hopefully they will soon as it is a fairly common fault)

vauxhall did diagnosis and replaced map sensor at a cost of £157, fault was happening all the time now hasnt happened in 300 miles

hi, I have a vectra from 2005 120 ph and from about three days the engine does not turate more than 3200 and I have got this fault code:P1125 and I don't know how to solve it. if I delete the code the engine works again but after few seconds the engine loses the power again and I get the same code p1125.
can somebody help me with this?
