    confused screen wash bottle question

    hi, noticed when filling screenwash up it leaks out of the joint at neck, also noticed the neck can be removed, can you get another seal ? or is it something else???

    They all leak, just don't fill it up past the joint. The joint is to remove the filler neck to access the headlight. Also thats the main cause of the foglight on that side misting up, the water drips onto it from the bottle. hth

    There is a seal in there, a rubber O ring but the plastic neck just doesn't seal very well on it. Maybe grease it up to help with the seal? TBH its just better not to fill it up to the very top, its only a few 100ml's in the neck anyway

    Mine used to leak, but when I fitted headlamp washers I got a new tank and i put vasaline around the joint when I put the new rubber grommet thing in..... Now you can fill it to the top and it stays there...

    I've even seen me check it a few days later and it still full to the top

    Well there is always one, mine has always leaked so it seems VX quality control isn't upto scratch!
