Anyone had a Tonsillectomy

Hi All,

Having my tonsillectomy out this Friday @ 14.00 at the age of 34 has anyone had this before at my age or older had a look on you tube looks ok I think

I had one done when i was about 26 ish just dont sneeze afterwards as blood poured from my mouth like a fountain and i had to be kept in,oh and its not like the old days where you get ice cream to eat afterwards lol they make you eat a full roast dinner lol.
I was in a bit of pain after mine but i do like to have misses running a round after me

I have to stop in over night until Sat 08.00. They give you a sandwich to eat just 1 hour of the op how nice they are

Yeah mine was an over night stay they had to get me a fan as i had a temp afterwards and was boiling hot plus it was a mixed ward so they didn't like the fact i was stripped off to my boxers .
Next day i got ready to leave and went toilet and sneezed and blood ****ed out every where so i had to stay in another night

The wife had it done at about that age. She had a few complications due to having a rare medical condition.
Should add that she still gets a form of tonsillitis but nothing like what she used to get.

Can't help as I had mine out when I was four after constantly suffering and don't remember anything other than thinking it was hilarious when my doctor told me they were swollen a few years ago.
