well guys,,was getting sick and tired of my limp mode/spanner light saga,,,,,, after all the work that had been done,,,(new inlet mani,glow plugs,egr and boost sens clean,full service..\),,so i went out today and bought a fault diagnostic scanner meself,,,, and i got code p1125,,,which i think is throttle body related ??? so i tackled the throttle body today,,,,gave it an UNREAL cleaning,,(it was seriously coked up ),,,and i re soldered only one of the solder joints on the small black module underneath the TB( thanks to the how 2 on this site) i only re soldered one of the solder joints on the circut board as it was the most suspect looking of all the joints,,,,, put all back together and do a re scan with my scanner and came up as zero fault codes,,,,and all looked good,,,took her down the road for a drive,,,,next thing,,spanner light/limp mode again!!!!! switched the car on and off,,,and all was good again,,,,, now it seems to be driving fine and still no faults registering on my fault reader,,,,,,,,,,,,,,any ideas ???????????

There is a how2 as your car is '05 it will suffer from broken solder joints in the throttle body housing.. Nothing solder and a soldering iron won't cure.

I just removed the throttle tbh.

One of the chips on the board apparently look bad and need doing but it is recommended you do as much as you can.
