So with the forum down, I had to fend for myself and make myself productive. So I finally got round to doing a few mods to the car.
Calipers - After a bit of deliberation over maybe going red, i decided to keep it simple and classy and go for the "new" look, so used Hammerite Hammered Silver. Very happy with the outcome.
Rear Lights - Sick of the blocks for the tail lights and wanted to do something to change them. A bit of masking tape and Black Sapphire rattle can, and I go the outcome below. Fully aware that some may HATE this, but sure.
Rear valance - Finally got rid of the awful Grey plastic, (sort of) I wanted a new design and not just all black like the Exclusiv's etc. So i based it on the SRi rear bumper but incorporated the number plate recess too. I really like this, unfortunately one corner didnt turn out right so have to touch it up.

Anyway opinions valued as per usual.

laquer the rear clusters completely now and they'll look very smart

Rear clusters have been but i cant get the same gloss as the rest!!! any recommendations?

Many thanks GTS, yeah the night effect is far better than day time. It all adds up to make her a one off!

you need to rub the lacquer down and polish it out to get a glossy finish

What do oi rub it down with???

id put a few more coats of laquer on then let dry, wet sand with 2000 grit paper the use elbow grease and g3/t cut etc to bring out the shine
