So my car was serviced by idiots!
Today my car went in for its free service from the dealer who issed it to me as their customer after sales service was sooooooo poor. I called to book it in and they said its only its third service but four years old so all the filters will need changing, good I said as your paying!
So I arrived today, 125 miles from my house to the garage. They gave me a 55 plate tigra with 8000 miles on it. 1.8 sport with no A/C. TBH I loved it, the 1.8 is more than enough in that small car, 70mph with the roof down on a sunny day, it was great! Handled like a go cart, 18" alloys looked great too.
Anyway, picked my car up 3 hours later. Expecting a full service to have been carried out, you know, the usual air/pollen/fuel filters. Only to discover that none of these had been changed. My car is 4 years old now but only its third service. They said that they didn't need doing. When I explained that all these had been on the car for at least two years as they were a year old when I bought the car a year ago - making them now 2 years old - and the service schedule said they are 2 yearly items. They quickly changed them. They didn't even change the battery in the key! Thats a yearly item! They changed them there and then, well at least the pollen filter, I stupidly didn't watch them doing anything else so i'm checking the air filter tomorrow.
The garage in question? CAWDOR CARS LLANELLI, South wales. The most useless garage I have ever come across.
