I am sure there is a reason Hid's are not fitted to main beams....... can't think why though.

main beam is out for hid as they dont light up as fast as needed but there is no law to stop you doing this

so if you can live with no being able to flash them it's a go--er for you

I would have thought it would be the same kit as the dipped ones. The hid's need a few seconds or so to ignite, so would make flashing your lights difficult. They wouldn't be dim, just take a while to come on.

If your dipped ones don't put the lamp check on then nor would the ones for the main beam if you fitted the same kit.

Hi mate! Full beam (or high beam) should be H7 too as the low beam and fog lights are H3 as far as I know.

And don't think that flashing is not possible, it is and it looks very nice, the car in front will see you're in a hurry but be careful as flashing shortens the hid's life..

As Big Sig said upper "If your dipped ones don't put the lamp check on then nor would the ones for the main beam if you fitted the same kit". So, if you purchased a low beam kit and it's ok, go ahead and purchase from the same vendor the full beam and the fog lights kit as well and they should work whitout problems too. Cheers!
