    Default rear view mirror

    hi can someone tell me how to do an auto dimming mirror ,retrofit,and what parts i would need plz??
    done a search cant find a how to,,,cheers

    You need the mirror, loom, mirror cover and windscreen,but if you want to cheat then just wire the brown and black to ciggy lighter,easy and cheaper way to do it,thats what i did anyway.............

    When they were fitted from factory they used a different windscreen,had a part blacked out for the wiper sensor and cover to make it look tidy,but i fitted mine and it doesn't look out of place and there's a mirror for sale on ebay too......

    you could also cut out your own tint to go under the mirror cover... saves needing a new windscreen.

    phew,,,you scared me then ..
    and that mirror on ebay is what made me think about doing it ,i'm just gonna fit it to my windscreen

    God idea Roy,just got the cover off Ben.H so need to somehow mount my sensor,any idea's............:

    You can, you need a 12volt live feed and earth feed,i tried that and didn't work,don't know why so fed 2 wire's upto the mirror through the headlining......
