52 plate 2.2 vectra c sri

hi everyone hope someone can help me out,i had my head under the bonnet today and noticed there was a little black plug hanging loose inbetween the back of the front bumper and the slam panel had a look around and i think it clips onto the back of the lower grill just wonderd what this is could it be the knock sensor?if it is would there be a reason this is unplugged or has it just come loose,didnt want to plug it back in and then theres something else wrong any advice would be great cheers in advance.

I think it's the air temp sensor fit's to the right centre of the grill looking from the front of the car hth ...........

If you have a chance a pic is always helpful ....

hi there mate thanks for thr reply havent got a camera at the moment but yes it fits onto the centre of the lower grill,a little two wire plug so theres no reason why it should be plugged in

Recon you've sused it, save it flaping about in the wind & getting damaged ..........
