Keep veccy or swap focus st170 ?

I've recently been offered an 03 plate focus st170 with 70k as a swap for my 04 vectra sri cdti150 (101k on the clock)....I'm seriously considering it as we have a jeep grand cherokee (4.0 with lpg conversion) as our family car and mainly the vec is used just by me on my daily commute to work and back (34 miles)...
Any advice, as I've been toying with getting rid of the veccy for the past few weeks now...

you will get better mpg out the vec and you wont have to drive a blue oval badge

It would probably be only a difference of 5mpg or so on my work journey tbh mate

Thats what I was thinking tbh-cleaned the egr twice since October already and done the solenoid mod. Theres so many scare stories and I'm worried about the clutch in the future not to mention the dpf...

if you are woried bout the vec mate then change but if it was me i would kep the vec. better mpg and faster to

Go for the focus as long as its had a timing belt kit done on it, it shouldn't give you much trouble, If your worried about the looming big veccy bills get rid and let someone else pay them lol
