    Default Headlight alligning fix?

Ok, my wife's dad's 2nd vectra c sri 2008 have a headlight that dips the light at the floor. Nearside.

Drivers side headlight is correctly positioned, i tried hex to bring up the nearside but not moving at all, which comes to conclusion that its dislodged the tooth mech for adjusting.

Anyone know how to go about this? Fix without taking headlight out and work on it as in fix while still attached to car??

its not hard to get the headlight out, just a good few screws. take the screws out down the wheel arch, then along the front where the grill is and bend the bumper down to expose the bottom headlight fixing screw and undo it and it just falls out once u have undone the other 2 at the top easy peasy.

oh meant to say, the bumper just unclips at the side dont be afraid to give it a good pull.

Make sure the bulb is fitted correctly first!!

Possible it's not 'clicked' in place properly

That's what I was going to say done an Astra on Friday with the same problem and whoever had fitted the bulb in had not pushed it home properly causing the beam to point down to the road and give very poor light

Tip for you, as you unscrew the top wheel arch liner screw push the screw into the hole. This screw works a clamp that tightens on the bumper as you tighten the screw. Just pulling it will wreck the tabs on the bumper eventually
