Opened my Bonnet what a Shock

I got to work today, and i thought i'll just have a look at the air box because i intend to do the air box mod at the weekend.
I propped up the bonnet and looked at the engine and a black and white cat was wedge between the bonnet and engine cover!. it meowed a few times and went to the back of the engine bay, i pulled it out and then it ran back underneath, i heard a few scratching sounds but i could no longer see it. Is there any spaces underneath it could hide apart from the engine bay as i could not see it in there.
