High Pressure Fuel Pump

Hi All
My veccy 54 plate needs a new fuel pump. My car is a 2.2 direct so iam guessing my engine is a Z22YH?? Cut to tghe chase, seen a fuel pump online for £75 but says its for a Z22SE. Could this pump still fit my car?? anyone??

I very much doubt it as the direct has a higher fuel pressure iirc.

No mate, the SE has a single pump in the tank, the YH has 2 pumps, a pump in the tank and a HP mechanical pump on the rail. Its the one on the rail that fails and its very expensive to fix.

My high pressure fuel pump and valve was replaced in August on my 2.2direct £565 and that was from a local garage. Vauxhall wanted £875 !!!

Petrol mate not diesel. Or are you just showing an example of price? I didnt know the DTi pumps were so expensive as well.

Replaced mine yesterday.
Best price from a reliable source I found to be from www.vauxhallworldparts.com.
Ordered the parts (I replaced the fuel pump, pressure regulator & fuel filter) Late on Tuesday morning and they arrived the following morning.

The fuel pump is "on offer" at £310 + £7 delivery. They had four left when I ordered and I see this morning that they have one left.
Part number for my 2004 2.2 Direct is 93174538
