(Astra) Rear view mirror removal

HI guys/gals,

Just a quickie, I've had a look on my Astra how to remove the mirror, the cover that you take off (on the Vec) doesnt move as much on the Astra so you can't see the clips that you need to squeeze in order to remove it - any idea's apart from cutting the cover off with a stanley knife??

I think the Astra mirror just slides onto it's mount on the windscreen.Just slide it down off it's mount. Just been out and checked on my Zafira.
