So Its my last few days at college, and then im off to Kavos for 2 weeks on monday the 20th june

Just wondering, who has been here before?
Anyone else going from June 20th to july 4th?

Whats the nightlife like? any places you recommend/avoid?

i went there on a 18-30 holiday had a great time good beach lot of bars and places to eat loads to do

cant remember alot it was 20 years ago.

Went there a good few years ago. I would recommend drinking from bottles as most bars water the drinks down. I used to start my night in a bar called bonkers? It had a speed boat sticking out of the wall?

Drink local bottles of beer to keep cost down and alcohol content up, Bar maids are mostly english and will spin you a tale how they get paid nothing a night and have to live in a room at the back.

Translate that to Free accomodation food and drink ( Bar kitchen) and about 3/4Euros tip per a round. We worked out at 2 Euros a round 2 of them were probably pulling in 300 euro`s a night over 50 tables.

Hire a quad bike they are good fun, dont hire a car unless you want to kill yourself. watch out for scooters there is a system of right of way and pedestrians are bottom pf the list, Just because its a zebra crossing dont expect anyone to stop for you.

Went a couple of years ago.Good for sun,sea,sex and sangria

The morning after looks like a right dump with crap all over the streets. Beach was full of tab ends but if your just going for the drink and party scene you will have a good time
