My Xbox 360 is on its last legs

I've got probs with me Xbox it. It was playing fine I was jamming away on Guitar Hero 3 then started to loose the graffics witch is a bit off putting and sending invites out to my friends list to join the game on its own so thought id try Guitar Hero 2 that was even wose try Forza 2 all I got was a load of lines on the screen. Has anyone esle had this prob??

Sounds like the graffics cards gone up **** creek

Had graphics issues on advanced warfighter once (certain elements disappearing) but a reboot and all was fine. I'd just make sure it's not too warm. Maybe now is the time to swap for an elite with the new falcon motherboard!

It was on neally all day yesterday so it might of got a bit hot were it sit's

I was thinking that but I can't put any more on my credit card...............Or can I

Provided you're still in warranty if it were to overheat until you get the red ring of death MS will swap out the motherboard for a new falcon unit

thats good but not got the red rings as yet. just tryed a reboot and an unplug for 10-15 min's nope in a no good Bummer. Just looking on ebay now to find a cheep replacement for now

Found the box I bought it from play.com on the 01/01/07 it neally made a year

How/where have you got it set up? Standing, laying down, in a cabinet etc?

Its satanding up right in a cubby hole there is plenty of air around it and the external hard drive is sitting across from it

Don't forget MS extended the warranty to 3 years, so get in touch and they'll repair/refurb it. My nephew had a similar problem on his and they turned it around pretty quickly.

Cool thanks D I have sent them an email with the fault hopefully ill get a replay soon

And now ive got to go to work till 2300 bummer oh well it pays the bills
