    Default What would you do?

I have a dilema, ive just joined the vauxhall clan again after owning a couple of skoda's and most recent bmw, now in the E46 ive just traded in i a top quality fantastic bit of handsfree with ipod connection kit made by alpine, was a CDA 103BT and sound quality on everything was spot on, the problem i have is that the signum i have just bought has the CD70 navi which as you can imagin i would like to keep ideally as it means i dont have to sucker a tomtom to the screen. Obviously getting a double DIN adaptor would be mean i would loose the sat/fuel comp etc but could fit the alpine in the centre dash, or do i mount the alpine in the glove box but filter onto existing speaker wiring and switch between units, or do i get a Bury CC 9060 which taps onto existing manufactur stereo and plays ipod also, or a Parrot MKi 9200 which does the same again but both look a bit of an isaw and stick out a bit, i know it sounds daft but im all for quality and asthetics.

welcome to the forum and hope your enjoying your Signum

you could just get the mki9000 which has no display just a remote - very discreet - announces the number/callers name and all controls give you speech when selected and the sound quality is excellent

Well im just a bit curious what happens to the top display when removing the CD70, does it just go blank? Ive now broadened my horizons to a double din upgrade, been looking at the Alpine INE - S900R, but ******ed if i can find it anywhere cheaper than £999, unless anyone knows of anywhere, im guessing january sales are not included in online car entertainment!!!
