Difference between Vectra 1.9 120 and 150

Whats the difference between the Vectra 1,9 diesels running 120bhp and 150bhp??? I mean obviously the power, but what mechanically is different to make the difference in power???

120 - 8v
150 - 16v

Ah ok, not a simple swap thing then to get the difference made up!! lol. Damn!

Was hoping it might just be Turbo or summin like that which I could change at a later date to up the power! :'(

to up power on 120 get a dtuk box , transforms the car enormously and up there with the 150 on power.

Yeah I was hoping I could make it 150, then DTuk it closer to 200! lmao.

So if, as mentioned above there is some 16v 120's, then whats the diffference between the 2 that lowers the power???

never come across a 16v 120 vectra. this engine was in the astra"s but looking at vaux engine tech guide was never produced for the vectra.

astra websites will say the detuned 120 16v engine is about software changes only ,so potential to up power should be straight forward.

Good to know that 1.9 120 16V Vectras existed, never heard of them before. When were they made? Is it possible to recognise it somehow?

Never heard of a 120 16V vectra in the UK and this caused a heated debate on a thread before. Astra's do come as 16V 120's though.
