    Default roof spoiler, colour choice

Irmscher roof spoiler has just arrived at the stealers. I've been talking with them about spraying it a different colour to the rest of the car.

I Know, I know, there's a risk that I could end up with a chav mod, or it could look the dogs b**lks.

I think the key is selecting a colour to compliments metro blue, any suggestions? Dark grey/silver is what I'm considering atm.

    Don't Do it.

Looks ok on Jap Cars or Dub style Veedubs - When the part in question is Carbon Fibre or Satin Black.....

But on a Vec C - Pants IMO.

Paint the Spoiler same colour and try colour coding elsewhere....

as above, it'll look like you've bought the spoiler second hand and not bothered to colour code it. play it safe and paint it metro blue, i think you'll regret it otherwise.

Do it blue. Shame to 'spoiler' brand new spoiler. And when it's on it's on for good.

Why not Carbon Fibre Effect it with that Stick on stuff. if it looks good leave it, if it doesnt, peel it off and get it painted as per the original plan. You have lost nothing other than a tenner for the Carbon Sticky Stuff.

At last some lateral thinkng. Trust me I don't want to ruin the loik of my car, I just want it to stand out from the crowd. Apart from the wheels, it's going to be the most visible mod. why not make the most of it.

You could say the same about the chrome handles & mirrored wing mirrors I'll be fitting too... I want to keep a theme going (alloy wheels, chrome door pins & handles, chrome spoiler...?)
