Vauxhall Signum 2.2 Direct 2004 driver controls rear mirrors dont work

Hi All,
Another tricky issue I have came across with my Signum 2.2 direct model year 2004.
Driver side control works fine for all other controls but one. And that is the rear windows cannot be operated from the driver side controls.
The rear windows work fine on their own individually whick points to the BCM working fine.
I took out the driver side control from the door card. Opened the switch up and every thing looks fine. Cleaned it with isopropane. Tested the switch with testing meter and found the button the operating correctly. i.e When the switch is not set to rear windows circuit (switch) is set to open, when switch is set to rear windows control, it presses the switch on the board in and closed (operational) circuit is achieved.
I also connected it in it's open state after cleaning but it made no difference and was not able to control the rear windows from the driver side.
All 4 electric windows operate fine individually and the from windows can be controlled by the driver side window controls as normal.


I am lost at where to go next from here.
Any help would be appreciated.

That is the part I am not sure about. The vechicle came with some receipts which were for changing of ignition coils and central locking coils. I will have in-depth look at the receipts for what work was carried out.

What should I be looking at to get a grasp of issue?

I have opened an another thread for a differnt issue on the same signum. Central locking door does not operate with remote locking and unlocking.

if they've replaced the Driver Door module they may not have programmed it to accept rear electric windows, theres a special setting on there for that..

(or maby its a retrofit for the rear electric windows, and forgot to program it in the module as plasma writes about)

HI Plasma,
The engine managment light is also on. What is the best option to go for. I was thinking to buy OP-COM device from ebay to check the fault code. Would that be able to programme the PDM or BCM?

Should I try replacing the locking mechanism Or I am wasting time with that?
