    Default Headunit Problems anyone???

Just Curious to see if anyone has had similar Problems with their headunit....

Fitted a Sony x-plod CDX M70 Headunit last week... everything seemed fine......
Have had this a while works no prob, took it out of my other Car working fine ect.......

Now the Problem is the Bass and the Treble won't work in the Veccy C ???
I'm wondering is it a wiring issue.... should'nt think so tho! however you never know........
The fader , balance Left / Right and Volume control work fine!!

Anyways I have an Alpine Headunit which I will fit this weekend see if any difference

No it won't be a wiring issue.
You'll most likely find you have the stereo set with a DSP/EQ setting which takes the bass & treble control away as it is set at a prefixed level in accordance to what setting you have selected.
    Try hitting the reset button.

I dont think its to do with the car, more like the head unit itself, as its the internal electronics of the head unit that alter the bass and treble of the sound.

I disconnected the Power a rebooted it, did'nt make difference, however I am sure there is a small reset button on the front of the removable Facia... I'll give that a try
