Buying software from ebay....

I want to buy Microsoft Project 2007, just the Standard one, i don't think i need Professional - i don't know what it provides over the Standard version anyway

Now if you buy it through microsoft they want something ridiculous like £400+, whereas on ebay its only 60 quid.

i've never bought software from ebay before, are these 100% legit? and why so much cheaper than the manufacturer?

Well the old saying goes..."If ti sounds too good to be true...." You know the rest!

Are these maybe OEM/Education versions? Are they legit as you say? Unless you know exactly what you're getting, I'd stay clear. You may end up getting more installed on your PC than just the software!

they will most probably be copies with a crack folder or come with a keygen maker

Well, from what I have just read on eBay, the copies are genuine enough, but are academic versions, not entirely clued up on this, but I believe these copies are supposed for purchase by schools and colleges etc rather than Joe public.
