they have allready put 2p on fuel here.
even tho the vat reduction didn't effect fuel
The VAT reduction DID affect fuel - but at the same time the government increased the duty to compensate - this time the duty will stay the same and the VAT goes up - 104.9p/litre will go up to 107.2p/litre assuming the filling station doesn't load or absorb the price increase.Originally Posted by mhvcbv

Just had a phone call from dealers as i have a part there,they told me to pick it up today else it would be more expensive tomorrow

Only put in 11 litres, but filled up anyway. Need to get back in to having BP Ultimate instead of the tank full of Esso I had to put in the other day as I had no miles left on the range counter and it was the only garage close to me. According to my Satnav, it was a BP one. Mind you, so was the other one I found which turned out to be a used car lot...
Date of order has nothing to do with it - invoice date and delivery date are the only dates involved with VAT.
Suppliers can of course prepare the invoice early and appear to be "absorbing" the increase.

when i ordered a part from dealers last week i payed then and there for it , they dont let you order with out paying
