They work perfectly when they are switched on and they only flash when they are off, for about 10mins they stop so is somthing i could live with its just the dash warning that was annoying me most..

I've just found this out myself. After going through some slight discomfort in changing the dipped beams for night breakers, i thought i'd change the side lights for the free LED ones that came with the night breakers.

All that effort, sliced arms and swearing to find the flipping things cause an error!

The worst bit was knowing i'd have to put the standard bulbs back.

    Oh well

If you go to maplins and buy 2 resistors (item L22R) and wire them across the s/light wires, they will cure your problems, well they have on mine, but you know how finicky a vec-c can be!

With the the resistors i still get the s/lights flash when the car is unlocked, but the main thing is the display doesn't show a warning with the engine running.

Yeah you will do as the car is still pulsing a small current through the lighting circuit. The resistor only gives the car the resistance its looking for so it doesn't think a lamp has blown - the led's have a much lower resistance than the filiment lamps.
