Default sorry but ANOTHER 50w hid

i previously had a 35w 8k kit loved the blue colour temp but they didnt seem to go much further/ be brighter than the standard halogens, i realise the colour temp dull brightness a little but how much brighter are the 50w kits??

has anyone had both kits to give a comparison??

Hi im going to buy a hid kit in a few weeks, im going for the 35watt ones. I was going to go for the 8000k ones, are they really that dim as i have the standard blue coated bulbs at the moment which the wife hates as they are really dull so i dont want to be buying a 8000k kit and having the same problem as i do with the standard bulbs.

this is the kit you want nice and bright with a slight hint of blue so as not to attract the attention of the police and mention vectra-c.com and get 10%off
oh and select the 6k option

I've had both mate, had the 35w 6k kit first, it was an improvement over standard but not enough for me. i now have the 50w 4.3k kit and its MUCH MUCH better.

no i was exaggerating abit matey they are actually fab im very very tempted by another set, only reason i have to change was part-ex the vec for another one and left them in, they are super bright but im after searchlight bright hid's lol

mine were 35w 8k from hid's direct, never went wrong in the year i had them and never got flashed for blinding others either

i`ve put a 5000k kit in from hids-direct and imo its perfect i did have the 6000k in my vec b which looked nice with the blue tinge but they are not a patch on the 5000k which give a crispy white light and good night time vision

get the 6000k 50watt ones and dont bother with HID's direct as they are no better than the Ebay ones you can get for £50.
I have used the Ebay ones on 3 different cars and had no problems.
It seems mental to pay what HID direct and the other well known companys charge for the same product. And you can almost guarantee there HID's come from china.
Its like the difference between asda jeans and levi jeans. They are both jeans but one has a brand name and the other does not but they both do the same job.
