Possible Scam...

The other night I had a phone call, in which the person claimed there was an issue with security on my PC and they needed to Remote in - in which case there were told to go....

They have tried to phone a me a few times claiming the same thing.

Under no circumtances let anyone remote into to your PC as they can:

- Find all passwords
- Use your browsing history and temporary internet files to obtain passwords
- Possibly steal your identity
- Take control of your PC
- And others

I have heard 2 other cases of phone calls of this nature - Please pass this on as it is inevitable someone will be duped into letting these people remote in.

If you are ever in doubt regarding your PC on performance and security take it to someone you trust who knows what they are doing. And never let people 'remote in'.
