Best way to dry out carpets?

A quick question on the best way to dry out my passenger carpet.
Had a bit of a leak (the drain under the pollen filter was blocked) and this
has filled the passenger side footwell with water,not just wet but standing water on top of the carpet.
Have soaked up as much as possable but the carpet is still very wet.
Any ideas on the best way to dry it out fully.

You may want to hire/borrow a wet 'n' dry vac thing with a nozzle. That'll suck off a good bit of the excess. Then it's a case of leaving the doors open to let it dry off. Ideally in a warm place like a garage/unit where you can heat the room up and leave the doors open as not much is going to dry in the current temperatures.

Just dont try to dry it out by leaving the heater on in the car.
You'll be getting steamed up windows for weeks.
When I was in the trade we used to dry out car carpets by putting the car in garage opening doors and using fans, like desk fans etc. just to blow cold air in through the open doors. Circulating air is q'kest way to dry them.

Use old towels soak up as much as possible, then lift the carpet and use a haidrier.

If you leave it too dry eau naturel it will provide a not so pleasant aroma and the cat will steam up for a good few months.

Exactly what i did, took about 45 minutes to do but it's dry now
