Default Best tyres on a budget?

So, for those of you who are in the budget tyre club, what do you find are the best cheap tyres? I get a fair few flats, so resent putting expensive tyres on the car right now. What do you find are good cheap tyres with minimal road noise and good grip and performance?

Hmmm. Not bad, but I don't tend to buy online. I get the mobile fitters to come out as I don't have the patience or equipment to get a tyre on and off my alloys!

they will find a fitting service for you.

why pay less for a tyre and then have a more expensive fitting.

Actually, that site charges a hell of a lot more than I pay for the tyre and fitting using a mobile fitter. Plus, I'd have to wait 2-4 days before the tyre could even be delivered, let alone fitted. How do you suggest I drive a car with no tyre for 2-4 days?

Adam, although I am talking about my A*stra, I recently had Federal Tyres fitted. So far they've been good, 55 quid a peice fitted for 17's.

Sorry, but I have to ask, why do you get so many flats? Is it where you drive, or could it be because you run on cheap tyres....?

He has a point, plus there's the safety aspect to consider as well, I'd recommend you go for mid range jobbies at around 70-80 quid each, something like Hankook,Klieber,Avon,Toyo tbh.
