When I asked about a complete exhaust, that was the only part they could quote for!

It is a genuine part. That dealer is near me and a friend has seen it, but when he went to buy the exhaust for his car he bought an Astra VXR instead. Like you do!

Yip, there are two versions of the exhaust
I had a quote from VX for them, but it was the complete system
The after market version is £600 (one year warranty)
The OE specification is £1100 (three year warranty)
However, that is fully fitted

I then went to KwikFit
They quoted £180 for the rear section, as each section is slightly different with one side at £100 and the other at £80
They then phoned up VX and found the rear comes as a kit, and quoted me £110 which was for both
