    Default How the hell

    how do you take off the headlight assy on a vec c pre facelift im trying to fit my HID's from HID's direct and there instructions are really generic and its starting to **** me off!!

    Take of the front bumper first. Two torx screws in each arch, two poppers underneath where the front of the bonnet sits and 4 push pins underneath the middle of the bumper

    I found it just as easy to remove the airbox on the drivers side and the washer bottle filler neck on the passenger side when i fitted mine,and i have fitted my hid kit to a prefacelift and a facelift and did it this way on both,there was no need to remove the headlights.

    easiest way is as John said.. whip the bumper of.. ive got it down to about five or ten mins to get off now

    Agree. take off the bumper. There's a how2 that shows you, er how2.

    lol got the bumper off got the lights off,

    im now standing around with one of the hid bulb(and wires) with the rubber backing to the main beam compartment cos the hole i cut was slightly misshapen so i made up some araldite to create a seal around it

    My holes where misshapen (oo-er missus!) - I had some rubber washers and used 2 of those to create a seal either side. It's whatever works I guess

    all done and finally sorted drove around for about and hour tonight thinking about doing a full beam conversion now aswell lol

    not too sure where i would put the ballasts for them though as the two in there have taken up pretty much all the space!!
