Quick question, could you drop a vxr8 engine into a vectra.
Just wondering, could be a good project for the future.

you can fit any engine into just about anything if you have the money and resources.

Would not fit as FWD but Did the germans not use a Vectra in the DTM and i think they were V8's

it was an astra in the dtm but as already said, you can fit anything in anywhere but you will need to do a lot of work. including custom engine mounts, transmission tunnel, front steering and rear drive from donor then you got to fit it all and wire it up so you will need the whole engine ecu trans etc along with the original wiring loom and any attachments for that. Good luck to whoever tries it.

Would love to see it happen, obviously as well suspension, brakes etc.... basically just the chassis lol but would be an awesome project would hate to think of the cost.

if you were spending that kinda cash you would obviously convert it to the vxr8 running gear aswell.

tho i beleave you would be cheaper with the monaro
