Was someone trying to nick my van today ?

Im sure someone tried to scam me into nicking me work van today.
Went to peterlee to go to bank, i'd just pulled up and was sorting out me bank paiying in books, cheques etc when a car pulled up asking me to wind down the widow which i did, he then told me that my passenger side front tyre was flat and that the tyre was actually off the rim, i said ok and thanks, then carried on sorting out my banking stuff. I thought it was a bit strange as i'd just pulled upand everthing felt ok. Any way i started wondering should i get out and change wheel now or do i go to the bank first then do it. I decided i was gonna go to bank first. Eventually when i got out of my van the trye was perfect (no puncture). That got me round to thinking that if i jumped straight out of my van to have a look was someone ready to jump straight in hoping that i would have left my keys in the ignition.

Seems a bit odd, what you lot think ???

Certainly sounds a possibility, and given the location I'd say it was a dead cert!!!
