Just wondering if there are any sales type peeps on the board here

Looking at the new Insignia and want to know if there any good deals on the SRi Nav 160 hatchback.

Going stir crazy looking on line and several dealers did not bother to return my calls today.... work that one out

Today was the last day of the month, so hand over day for many purchases in the last week

Try again next week, you will find it much easier!

Equally, try visiting a dealership "out of hours / weekends", it is much easier
Such as weekdays between 10:00 and 15:00, or 18:00 and 19:30

Also avoid the last three days of the month, these sales inevitably end up in the following month, so dealerships are quite reluctant to do them

I have managed to get the best deals 3 weeks before a registration change
Equally, I have discussed terms with a salesperson then taking their card advising them I will look at other outlets to see what is available

Agree with the above.

Last few days of the month and they are more interested in making sure they make their targets.

Shop around, if you can save £££ by shopping around, its worth the effort. Also remember that over 60's get a discount at Vauxhall (well, they do up here!!).

to be honest i would not deal over the phone,any deals to be done need to be face to face
