    Default De-tinting a car...

How easy is it to De-tinit a car??

We need to removed the tintis from that lovely 200SX this afternoon, is it just a case of peeeling them off, or is there a proper procedure to doing it?

its a messy job m8, peel the tint off then cover with clue and tar remover, then scrape of with a sharp blade then clean the glass.

Heat the tint up before peeling it off, as this will help a little as it will make it easier to get the glue off

if you're not putting new tints back on then it won't be so bad, but putting new tints on windows that have had film removed is a nightmare, you have to be so meticulous in removing every tiny bit of glue residue, otherwise it'll show up when you apply the new film.

Use a large brick. Very effective.

I would advise keeping the tints. If its the red 200sx there was a pic of on here the other day then keep them.

Better that having to take the shame of having to ride round in that bucket lol.
