Well i sold the SRI on sunday and gone and bought a BMW.
I would just like to say sorry for deserting but the Vec had to go as it was loosing value like a lead baloon.

Thank you. I plan on keeping it for a year and then buying something really nice. It should hold its value better the Vec.

I dont care who makes it to be honest, as long as its worth more than 20 quid when i come to sell it.

Annoyingly the Vec was 4 groups lower on the insurance though. And the BM is not even a sports model. Its an SE.
The vec was a 2.2 and the BM is a 2.0, Although they both are almost identical for performance apart from economy where the BMW just pips the Vec.
I will miss the Vec as i put a lot of time in to that car and it served me well. It was sad seeing it drive off with someone else driving it who wouldnt appreciate the little things like sun glasses holder and rear interior light etc that i had added.
Of all the things i had done to that car it was the £15 parking sensors that sealed the deal.
