Ok so my power steering has gone . New alternator before crimbo so can't be that. Initial thought is the pump . Any ideas

Check battery voltage while car is running does it still reads 14.7 ish , some alternators can fail very quickly

alternator is fine. AA just been out, turns out to be a faulty connection which isnt covered by them. its working again now, but for how long. while he was there i asked him if he could tell me what i thought sounded like the manifold leaking. he took the cover off the engine and immediately showed me lots of gunk around the 2nd and 3rd injectors. said its more than likely the seals have gone, and this also why it struggles to start sometimes. is it easy to fix this injector problem myself ??
